Flea Market

Last Sunday, Matt and I did a little treasure hunting at the Pasadena Flea Market at the Rose Bowl.  And it was big.  Overwhelmingly big.  Impossible to see it all, big, big, big.

The first part we explored was more or less new items- there were stands selling everything! From little things like toys and hats to huge purchases, like outdoor stone & water features. But where we had our real fun was in the vintage and antique section.  Some stands piles things on tables or on blankets on the ground and you had to rumage through them to find anything interesting (we didn't do to much of that).  Other stands looked more like museums exhibits (we didn't venture into those too much either- mucho $$). We did most of our shopping at stands somewhere in between the two. And we came home with 6 books, 2 coasters and a two-tiered table.

If we go back, we'll bring our little rolling cart- so we can bring home more treasures! We'll also have to bring sunscreen- I'm still a little red! Who knows, maybe we'll turn into flea market pros- with matching fanny packs!
